Dental care without a Swedish personnummer
If you are an expat, international student, business traveller or tourist without a Swedish personal identity number, contact us to discuss your needs. Private dental care can often be arranged; the clinic will explain the patient information required and how to book.
For urgent problems, read our guide to emergency dental care in Stockholm without personnummer. Eligibility for Swedish dental support is a separate question from whether you can arrange a private appointment.
If you are visiting Stockholm briefly, tell us your departure date when contacting the clinic. We can discuss what can realistically be assessed or treated during your stay and any follow-up you may need after returning home.
Dental prices, payments and international insurance

Frequently asked questions
Can I receive dental treatment entirely in English?
Yes. Consultations, treatment planning, consent and after-care can be explained in English. Let us know if you need particular documentation when arranging your visit.
Can I book a dentist in Stockholm without personnummer?
Contact the clinic directly so we can explain the booking details and information needed. Not having a Swedish personal identity number does not automatically prevent you from arranging private dental care.
How much does a dental check-up cost?
Check our current dental fees. A routine examination, emergency assessment and consultation may involve different fees; ask which appointment suits your needs and what is included.
Can I get a same-day emergency appointment?
Appointments depend on availability. Call +46 8 643 90 11 during opening hours and describe your symptoms so the clinic can advise on the earliest suitable appointment.
Will my international insurance cover treatment?
Coverage depends on your policy. Confirm any requirements with your insurer before treatment where possible. The clinic can supply receipts and relevant documentation, but cannot guarantee reimbursement.
Can tourists and short-stay visitors receive dental care?
Yes, contact us with your dental concern and travel dates. Assessment, treatment and follow-up depend on your clinical needs and the time available.
