X-ray imaging is not required for all dental patients. We follow the Swedish guidelines from Radiation Safety Authority.

The panoramic view helps the dentist to see, for example, a malpositioned wisdom tooth.

Dental imaging as well helps in planning for orthodontics, multiple bridges, dental crowns, and implants, or possible hidden infections or diseases in the jaw bone.
