Invisalign should not usually feel sharply painful, but it is common to feel pressure, tightness or mild soreness when you start a new aligner. This usually means the aligner is applying controlled force to move the teeth. Discomfort is often strongest during the first days of a new aligner and then settles. Sharp pain, wounds, a badly fitting aligner or pain that does not improve should be checked by your dentist.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n
